Einbau Soundbaustein E94

The electric locomotives of the class 94 (e.g. No. 04410) are already prepared at the factory for the retrofitting of sound decoders and speakers.

The following items are required for the retrofitting:

To disassemble the model, first remove the front hoods. They are snapped on the side. It is recommended to "pry" the hood with a flat object. After that, the upper part of the locomotive can be pulled off the bridge frame upwards. This too is latched on the side.
	In order to make the space provided for the loudspeaker installation accessible, the motherboard must now be dismantled. To do this, loosen the fastening screw of the printed circuit board and remove it. Make sure that none of the soldered cable connections breaks off during this step.
There are contact areas for the speaker connection on the underside of the PCB. The contact springs on the speakers must now be bent upwards.
	It is recommended to fix the loudspeaker on the sound capsule with double-sided adhesive tape. After mounting the speaker with sound box, the circuit board is screwed down again. Finally, remove the analogue interference set in the Next18 interface of the board and plug in the sound decoder. To mount the locomotive, perform the above steps under 1 in the reverse order.
