TILLIG - ROKAL
Combination of TILLIG track systems and ROKAL vehicles
TT model track system / TT ballast system and ROKAL vehicles
- travel on straight and curved track elements is possible following inspection of the track width of the wheel sets of the ROKAL vehicles
- travel through points and crossings is not possible
- a reworking or replacement of the wheel sets (according to valid NEM standard) of ROKAL vehicles facilitates the use of them on the TT model track system / TT ballast system
TT standard track system (hollow section) and ROKAL vehicles
- travel on straight and curved track elements is possible after inspection of the track width of the wheel sets of the ROKAL vehicles
- travel through points and crossings is possible to a certain extent. Due to the very wide later wheel flanges of 1.1 to 1.2 mm (lateral wheel flanges are currently 0.4 to 0.5 mm), jamming of the
wheel sets may arise in the areas of the core elements. A remedy can be found here through the reduction of the width of the check rail inner sides (made of plastic).
- a reworking or replacement of the wheel sets (according to valid NEM standard) of ROKAL vehicles facilitates the use of them on the TT standard track system (hollow section)
Please note
The statements made with respect to the ROKAL products are not exhaustive. In terms of the divergent levels of product quality, problems with the technical running of the vehicles can for instance arise due to the age of the products.
A combination of TILLIG track systems and ROKAL vehicles is possible if you were put a certain amount of work into achieving this. However, it is advisable in the interests of the current demands on running conduct and operational reliability that the TILLIG and ROKAL products are not used together.
